760 Palestinians were injured and at least 112 Palestinians lost their lives while trying to get into Gaza for supplies.
In front of Israeli tanks, a group gathered near a line of vehicles on the road by the beach in the southwest of Gaza City.
The Israeli military stated that tanks shot warning shots that missed the vehicles. However, other Palestinians claim that soldiers shot at them.

A Palestinian who spoke to the BBC mentioned that most of the people who died were hit by trucks as they tried to move forward.
Aerial images from Israel show hundreds of people on and around trucks, while disturbing videos online show bodies being placed on empty aid trucks and a donkey cart.

Israel has been accused of a “massacre” by Gaza’s Hamas-run health ministry. They reported that 112 people were killed and 760 were injured. The UN Security Council has called for an emergency meeting to discuss the situation privately.
France called it “unjustifiable” because Israeli soldiers fired at civilians who were trying to access food. US President Joe Biden expressed concern that this incident would make it harder for mediators to achieve a short-term ceasefire between Israel and Hamas.
MSF, a medical humanitarian organization, expressed horror and demanded a ceasefire. The incident occurred at the Nabulsi junction on the southwest border of Gaza City.
A group of 30 trucks carrying aid from Egypt were traveling through a humanitarian corridor designated by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). However, civilians surrounded the convoy and climbed onto the trucks. Rear Adm Daniel Hagari, the IDF’s chief spokesman, stated that some people became violent, pushing and trampling others to death, and looting the supplies.
This unfortunate incident resulted in the deaths and injuries of many Gazans. Israeli tanks attempted to disperse the crowd with warning shots but had to withdraw when the situation became uncontrollable.

He said that the Israeli military was trying to help the relief convoy reach its destination and said, “The aid convoy was not attacked by the IDF.”
Hamas disagreed with the IDF’s claim and provided “undeniable” evidence of “direct shooting at civilians, including headshots aimed at killing them immediately.”
At the al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City, many critically or seriously injured people were brought in, overwhelming the medical staff because there were so many severe cases.
After being the main focus of the Israeli ground offensive, the north of Gaza was left in ruins and has been mostly cut off from humanitarian aid for several months.
Last week, the World Food Programme announced that it had to stop providing assistance to the region because its first convoy in three weeks was shot at in Gaza City and surrounded by hungry Palestinians near an Israeli barrier.
A top UN official gave a serious warning on Tuesday. They said that in the northern region, one out of every six children under the age of two is experiencing severe malnutrition and wasting. This means that these children are not getting enough food and are becoming very weak. least 576,000 people, which is a quarter of the population, were facing extreme levels of food insecurity throughout the Gaza Strip.
According to the health ministry, ten children have recently died in hospitals in northern Gaza due to malnutrition and dehydration.
